A1.2 Italian Beginner Course
Take the second step of your Italian journey with Chapter 2 of our Beginner Course. You'll join a small group class of max 6 students for 12 lessons of 90 minutes, delivered on Zoom once a week by one of Giulia's accredited Italian teachers.

You either took our A1.1 Beginner course or were redirected here from our placement test.
You want to learn Italian for everyday situations in an engaging and practical way that prioritizes speaking.
You seek guidance from expert Italian teachers who can use English as a bridge language when needed.
What you'll get out of this course
Communication 🗣️
You'll be able to:
- Invite a friend to a cafe and order a coffee
- Describe your eating habits and preferences
- Read a menu and order a traditional Italian lunch
- Reserve a table and have dinner at a restaurant
- Book a room in a hotel and write a review
Vocabulary 💬
You'll expand your vocabulary on the following topics:
- Food, meals, and places where to eat
- Touristic landmarks and vacation accommodations
- Hotel rooms and services
- Nouns and adjectives describing restaurants and hotels
- Plural of articles, nouns, adjectives
Grammar 📝
You'll learn the following definitions and structures:
- Present tense of regular verbs in -ERE and -IRE
- Present tense of modal verbs and main irregular verbs
- Formal of courtesy request: vorrei
- Adverbs quantity (poco, molto) and quality (bene, male)

You’ll learn what Italians have as a mid-morning snack and how to order something to eat.
