Where does the word nebbia come from? 🔎
Nebbia has its roots in the Latin nebula. Originally, nebula referred to a wide range of atmospheric phenomena, such as clouds and mist. Over time, its meaning has been refined to specifically indicate fog, namely that condensation of water vapor that creates reduced visibility near the ground, while cloud has taken on the specific meaning of atmospheric formation at altitude and nebula has remained as a scientific term to indicate vast clouds of interstellar gas and dust.
